湖南惠同新材料有限责任公司的前身是长沙矿冶研究院金属纤维及制品厂，现位于湖南省益阳市朝阳开发区。公司是国内早从事金属纤维及其制品研究开发、生产的单位。2001年公司金属基电磁屏蔽防护材料项目被列为高技术产业化示范工程。公司目前已形成大规模工业生产能力。
